APRC Mobile Seminar Training Program, 9-10 December 2014, Hong Kong
The 2014 APRC STP was hosted by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong, from 9 -10 December 2014 in Hong Kong.
The intensive two-day APRC STP examined continuing regulatory issues, as well as practical approaches with respect to the supervision of market intermediaries, enforcement, and regulation of investment products.
Ninth Joint FSI/IOSCO Seminar on Trading Book Issues and Market Infrastructure, Basel, 19-21 November 2014
The annual FSI/IOSCO Seminar was jointly hosted by the Financial Stability Institute (FSI) and the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) from 19-21 November 2014 in Basel, Switzerland. The seminar was intended for bank supervisors and securities regulators.

The 2014 Mobile STP for the Inter-American region was hosted by the CNBV Mexico from 12-14 November 2014. The program content was based upon the 2013 Madrid STP and had as an overall theme “Going Forward: Future Challenges in Securities Regulation and Practical Solutions for Meeting Those Challenges”.
2014 IOSCO Seminar Training Program, Madrid, Spain, 21-24 October 2014
The Annual IOSCO Seminar Training Program took place from 21-24 October 2014.
The theme of the program, hosted at IOSCO´s premises in Madrid, Spain, was “Regulatory Collaboration With Respect To Global / Cross-Border Securities Violations and Crimes and the Role and Use of the IOSCO MMoU” .

6th Joint IFIE-IOSCO Global Investor Education Conference, Washington DC, US, 21-23 May 2014
The sixth Joint Global Investor Education Conference of the International Forum for Investor Education (IFIE) and IOSCO was held from 21-23 May 2014 in Washington D.C, and was hosted by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). The theme of the conference was "Applying Theory to Action: Implementing FC/IE Best Practices & Lessons Learned"..
7th IOSCO AMCC Training Seminar on Implementing IOSCO Principles, Tokyo, Japan, 8-10 April 2014
The IOSCO Affiliate Members Consultative Committee (AMCC) conducted a new edition of its "Training Seminar on Implementing IOSCO Principles", from 8 to 10 April 2014, in Tokyo, Japan.
The AMCC Training Seminar featured panels, case studies, presentations and breakout sessions on "Implementing IOSCO Principles". Invited speakers and panelists represented domestic and international organizations from a wide variety of countries and regions.
The two and half day program covered the IOSCO Principles relating to Regulators, Self-Regulators, Enforcement, Secondary Markets and Market Intermediaries, and addressed current regulatory issues, such as cyber-security, crowdfunding, social media, high frequency trading, complex products and other challenges to investor protection. Regulators, AMCC members and SRO officials were invited to attend.
The 2014 edition was divided into two sessions, a public session and a regulators-only session.
The Seminar was co-organized by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), the Brazilian Financial and Capital Markets Association (ANBIMA), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Japan Securities Dealers Association (JSDA), the Japan Exchange Group (JPX) and the Tokyo Stock Exchange Regulation (TSER).
