IOSCO Project Manager Services to support communications team on a website redesign (‘reskin’)
(T/2024/01)

I. Objective

  • The objective of this work is to assist IOSCO in providing project management services to support an immediate reskin of the website.

II. Background

  • IOSCO is the leading international policy forum for securities regulators and is recognized as the global standard setter for securities regulation. The organization's membership regulates more than 95% of the world's securities markets in some 130 jurisdictions, and it continues to expand.
  • The IOSCO Secretariat now wishes to redesign its website including the members' area. The goal of the redesign of this website is to reflect the growth of the organization. A full redesign gives us an opportunity to adopt a more advanced content management system to have greater control over content and to adhere to industry best practice. This will also ensure that our website uses the most up-to-date code standards, works well with all devices and browsers, and reflects many other modern industry best practices.
  • As a next step, and in order to meet a critical delivery date of mid-May which will see the introduction of a new brand image for IOSCO, we will focus on an immediate reskin of the website to incorporate this new brand. This will take into account the wider goals of the website redesign as mentioned above

III. Website Description

  • The website is coded in HTML and JavaScript.
  • There are two sections, one section of the website is public and the other section (the members ‘area) is accessible via login.
  • Total number of pages: more than 100 links in the upper menu, and more than 100 different pages that get rendered.

    1. Become familiar with the existing IOSCO website, including the members' area;
    2. Partner with communications to develop content specific to the pages which form part of the reskin project.
    3. Partner with IT on the technical specification for the reskin design
    4. Develop a project plan to help us visualise a timeline for delivery of reskin sections by mid-May.
