Upcoming IOSCO Training Programs

IOSCO Capacity Building Program on Sustainable Finance: Disclosure Requirements for Corporate Issuers, Technical Training Program, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 2-3 May 2023

IOSCO has developed a capacity building program to support an efficient implementation of the forthcoming IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards. The program is exclusively tailored for securities regulators that are members of IOSCO.

As part of this capacity building program, IOSCO is organizing a 2-day technical training program, hosted by the IOSO Asia Pacific Hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 2-3 May 2023. For all details, please visit the Members Area.

IMF-IOSCO Training Workshop on Cyber Resilience, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 8-12 May 2023

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and IOSCO are jointly organizing a Training Workshop on Cyber Resilience, which will be hosted by the IOSCO Asia Pacific Hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 8-12 May 2023.

7th IOSCO/PIFS – Harvard Law School Global Certificate Program for Regulators of Securities Markets – Phase I, Madrid, Spain, 22-26 May 2023

IOSCO and the Program on International Financial Systems at Harvard Law School (PIFS-HLS) jointly developed this two-phase program to offer IOSCO members an executive education program that is exclusively tailored for regulators of securities markets. Attendees have up to three years to complete both phases of the Global Certificate Program. Successful attendees will be awarded a joint certificate of participation issued by IOSCO and PIFS-Harvard Law School. Also, IOSCO members may attend any part of the program on a non-certificate basis. This year marks the 7th edition of the program which was inaugurated in 2016.

Phase I, hosted by IOSCO, consists of the following components: online learning materials and a one week-long in-person module on regulation and compliance. The in-person module will be conducted at IOSCO´s premises in Madrid (Spain) from 22-26 May 2023 and will cover the fundamentals and intricacies of securities regulation and compliance and related current critical issues. These sessions will be delivered primarily by current or former securities regulators.

Phase II, hosted by PIFS-HLS, consists of a one week-long in-person module that will be conducted on campus at the Harvard Law School in Cambridge (Massachusetts, US) from 11-15 December 2023. This one week-long session will examine current and future regulatory challenges and emerging issues and will be delivered by leading academics, securities regulators and public policy makers.

While any IOSCO member employee may attend the program, it is specifically designed for regulatory staff with strong leadership potential and approximately five to seven years of regulatory experience.

25th IOSCO Seminar Training Program, Madrid, Spain, 26-28 September 2023

The annual IOSCO Seminar Training Program will take place in Madrid, Spain, from 26-28 September 2023. This year marks the 25th edition of the program which is open to all IOSCO members. For all details, please visit the Members Area.

18th IOSCO-FSI Conference on Securities Trading Issues and Market Infrastructure, Madrid, Spain, 10-11 October 2023

The Financial Stability Institute (FSI) of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) and IOSCO are jointly organizing the annual Conference on Securities Trading Issues and Market Infrastructure, in Madrid, Spain, on 10 and 11 October 2023. This Conference, which is intended for bank supervisors and securities regulators, marks the seventeenth year that FSI and IOSCO are organizing this important joint program.
