Enforcement Successes Involving MMoU Cooperation

Cooperation under the IOSCO MMoU has enabled the successful investigation of capital markets violations and the execution of enforcement actions in cross-border contexts, where jurisdictional limits would have led to a different outcome. Below are a few examples of cases where assistance provided by overseas counterparts was not only instrumental, but also critical in arriving at positive enforcement outcomes for MMoU signatories:
