| Comments: | The FSC has been made aware of websites stating that HitBTC (website address: https://hitbtc.com/) is an entity incorporated in the Virgin Islands. HitBTC was incorporated on 9th August 2018 under the BVI Business Companies Act, 2004. On 1st May 2020, HitBTC was struck off the Register of Companies following its failure to make payment of annual fees payable under BVI companies legislation and was subsequently dissolved on 4th July 2023. HitBTC has never been licensed or regulated to carry on any type of financial services business in or from within the BVI. |
