We recommend caution when dealing with Forbes Capital Partners (FCP) and its website. We received a complaint that representatives of FCP had befriended a NZ resident on social media and encouraged him to invest money. When he attempted to withdraw his money, FCP withheld the funds and told him to pay an advance fee. FCP is not registered on the Financial Service Providers Register (FSPR), which is required to provide financial products and services in New Zealand. Although claiming to be based in Malta, FCP isn’t registered on the Malta Financial Services Registry.
